The log file isn't always written

When I enter raids and execute the command /combatlog, logs are not being recorded and no log file appears in the Logs folder. Sometimes a game restart helps, but by the time I realize it, a portion of the fight has been lost and not recorded.
What could be causing this and how can it be fixed? I’m tired of checking before every raid if the combat log has appeared yet.
Do you have any advice or should I contact Blizzard support?
Advanced combat logging is enabled. I run the /combatlog command as soon as I enter a raid dungeon. My observations: if a log file appears (even if it’s empty) after executing the command, it will be recorded. If the file doesn’t appear after executing the command, it won’t appear at all. Game restarts sometimes help, but not always.

Hi there,

It sounds like you might have addon(s) interfering with your logging, so would recommend looking through your settings on e.g. DBM, BigWigs, Raiderio. This tweet thread can help you out too: https://twitter.com/gerrit_alex/status/1613931501405585409
