I just started doing logs last night, was hoping to get some pointers for the rest of my raid group. As well as an idea on how they compare against not only those of their class, but those of their item level. And after I logged it I noticed that the % Ranking and iLvL Ranking were the same number for every single player on all charts and for all fights.
I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue. But the people who are a bit under geared were of course not happy with where they ranked and wanted to know how they did in comparison to those of equivalent item levels.
You need to log with Advanced Combat Logging enabled. Item level is not included in the logs unless you turn that on. You can enable it from the Network pane of System preferences in-game.
Thanks, yeah I been googling around and turned that on now. Was hoping I could find a way to update my past log with it, but doesn’t seem so. I’m kind of disappointed that the “Get Started” guide doesn’t mention that at all. That was one of the reasons I wanted to start logging, so it’s a bit disappointing.
Yeah, I was in a rush to figure it out before raid. So that’s my bad, but if it was mentioned there it definitely wouldn’t hurt. Thank you for the help!
