Basically title. We have healers in our team that is dedicated spot healers for the healing absorbs on for example the crown fight, belo’ren and the council fight, but their healing absorb healing is just voided for parsing on warcraftlogs and doesn’t seem to count? Why? Our holy paladin loses 30k hps effectively on the crown fight for example. It being such a vital mechanic this season, it seems to be strange that it is not highlighted and included in the parse.
Hello. Healing absorbs do count towards parsing, but Blizzards in-game meter is currently incorrectly counting absorbed healing twice. The uploaded numbers on WCL are correct.
I made an account just to say this is completely incorrect.
Here’s why.
When you look at absorbed healing and check what ability you are healing through, you can clearly see the ability name Tyr’s Wrath.
But when you go back to overall healing, you don’t see Tyr’s Wrath. Based on the amount healed, Tyr’s Wrath should be my #1 harmful ability healed but it doesn’t show up.
There is something fundamentally wrong when the most accurate meter we have is the in-game meter.
The Harmful Ability stuff is heuristic, it just assigns heals to the harmful abilities from the oldest damage taken to the newest.
