Yeah itās a bug caused by Razorgore being a pet according to Blizzardās logs, so only Grethok is counting as a boss.
Iām still wondering why Iām consistently getting recognized as a fury when Iām actually tanking. If not fixing this issue, could you at least share the metrics which are currently categorizing tanking vs dps for warriors?
I know itās not easy - but Iām sure we can help. Itās very frustrating to get green dps logs when youāre second tank on a boss. In BWL, thereās a lot of bosses you just taunt off the Main Tank. All three taunts should categorize you as a tank imho.

All skills that arenāt listed can only be cast in humanoid form.
Additionally, Moonkin Aura (24907) is applied to other players in the same party when the druid is in Moonkin form (24858), and likewise Leader of the Pack (17007) when in Cat or Bear form with ādeepā feral spec.

I am actually curious how people are finding the tank categorization in Blackwing Lair. As far as I can tell, itās actually working pretty well now that Iāve excluded certain adds from consideration (and fixed the warlock Corrupted Infernal to not count also).
Druids get logged as healers on Ebonroc due to the debuff. Otherwise, Iām still getting logged as a cat way too often (except for Vael and Nef, Iām basically always in bear form and tanking) see logs.
In fact, last raid I wasnāt logged as a tank a single fight (Bullwye and Germone were the other tanks, with mixed classification results)
When I look at your logs, you are tanking for very low percentages. For example you only take like 17% of Broodlordās melee hits. I guess this raises the question of āShould you be considered a tank just for being in a defensive stance or form but not tanking anything for most of the fight?ā
Obviously? My spec and gear is made for tanking, not dealing damage.
Itās the role Iām playing in the raid.
If my role was to do DPS, Iād be in cat form (or Moonkin; or playing a different class).
As for that specific fight, the other tank was missed by the bossās Knock Away skill (at 59.531s), which reduces threat by 50%, which meant he could keep tanking, otherwise itād have attacked the 3rd tank
or me again.
Why should something like that change which role one is ranked as?

Edit: never mind, i see the issue and will update to exclude the Shadow of Ebonroc heal from heal spec determination.
Tank logs are flawed.
It only calculate damage which makes it useless to even look at.
Thereās nothing on damage mitigated and threat.
Being tagged as a tank or fury doesnāt matter right now.
Because in the end, it doesnāt rank people on the good metrics.
As long as the tank doesnāt die, threat is the most important metric in classic and for fury and feral tanks, damage and threat correlate very closely.
Ok, I have implemented the stance-based solution, with a threshold of 40% of the time spent in bear form or defensive stance. Weāll see how this works out compared to the old heuristic.

No rush on this as I know you are busy but I think you can completely remove the hit heuristic since you have the bear heuristic in.
In this log he is marked as a tank cause he took a lot of hits but you can see he is only in bear for about 2% of the fight. I would consider this to be a dps role not a tank role.

I did completely remove the hit heuristic. Looks like the buff id I used for Bear Form is wrong? He gets a buff called Dire Bear Form instead, so now Iām a bit confused what buff I should be looking for for bear form.
