Hello,
Whenever I type /Combatlog and begin attacking anything i get spikes inside the instance which can lead to me dropping from 120 fps to 1 fps for a few seconds every now and then. This issue becomes less frequent when i delete the cache folder and the log text format. Here is my spec:
CPU - I5-6600K (skylake)
RAM - 16GB (supported by motherboard)
Graphic - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
This is usually an SSD issue. Make sure the firmware of your SSD is up to date or log to a different drive.
Thank you for the answer
I currently log to an HDD drive. Would it be better to log on my SSD drive that is also my main drive? If so: How do i do that without re-installing WoW?
Might just make sure your hard drive’s firmware is up to date and/or google for “warcraft stuttering your hard drive brand /model”
I will try a different drive but in case it doesnt work, how can I check if its not up to date? If so do i need to install something or just buy a brand new one?
