WotLK Classic: Blood DK DPS/OT Logs are all invalid

Blood DPS and DK OTs share the “Runeblade” classification, this means that anyone OTing in tank gear will be saturating the lower damage end of the parses. This has 2 results:

  • Blood DPS parses will be artificially inflated.
  • DK OTs logs are artifically low - unless they somehow compete on DPS with people in full DPS gear.

sad part is that a lot of people are specing other specs like unholy or frost and still being counted as tank.
